Many we initially spoke to that told us “all the right things” we wanted to hear but not the honesty we were looking for. From the very beginning Dean was listening to us. He listened to our initial wants and needs while also asking questions to determine hidden needs to find the right home for our family. If you are a military family, Dean understands our life style and is ready to answer all the questions we have. He knows about which neighborhoods will suite you best. If you have school age children, Dean knows all there is to know about the local schools and which school districts will fit your families educational needs. He never made us feel as if we were bothering him and he always makes it a point to actually get in contact with you as soon as possible. No question is a silly question. Dean happily answers your questions without making you feel embarrassed. If he doesn’t have an answer he finds out the answer for you with no hesitation. Home buying could have easily been a nightmare considering we gave Dean a very short time frame, had very specific needs and we were on the East Coast. This was not the case though. He took the time to take videos of properties and offer his insight on homes and the surrounding areas. When it came time to negotiate our home purchase, he was on our side. I say this in a very surprising way. He isn’t the typical agent that tries to get the most out of a sale for themselves, but he helps you make good smart decisions when negotiating. We were so happy we could put our trust into Dean. We are now in a fantastic home, that met our timeframe, was negotiated at a great price and that is in a safe neighborhood that’s fits our families needs. I started looking for a house in Colorado Springs while I was on an overseas tour. Dean was great from the start and began sending me listings for homes which matched my criteria. We used those listings to further refine what I did and did not want in a home. When I came to Colorado Springs to actually find a home and put in an offer, he was able to find us a perfect match in the first 2 days. Dean genuinely cares about getting you the house you want. My husband and I used him to find and buy a house sight unseen, and he was indispensable. He would respond within minutes to text messages (at all hours of the day), and when we told him we were wanting to see more of a house, he would book an appointment to view it that day or the next to make a youtube video and send it to us. He would mention useful details such as a house having bowed walls or sinking floors, and he would mention musty smells if he noticed it. He would take measurements that we requested as well.
